Liquid Ammonia
Aqueous Ammonia, also known as Liquor Ammonia, is a solution of ammonia in water
designed for safe handling, mitigating the risks associated with using Ammonia Gas
by significantly reducing its vapor pressure. Referred to as Ammoniacal Liquor,
this inorganic chemical serves as a liquid solution in diverse industries such as
Rubber and Pharmaceuticals. Occasionally labeled as Ammonium Hydroxide, it has
the chemical formula NH4OH, holds UN No. 2672, and is registered under
CAS number 1336-21-6.
Typically manufactured with a concentration of approximately 25% w/w, Ammonia
Solution is available in various packaging capacities, ranging from 5 liters to
235 liters in HMHDP plastic containers, 6 MT to 15 MT tankers, and 22 MT ISO tankers.
